CTN was incorporated in 1980 and is an employee owned corporation, which has a long history of serving agricultural businesses. CTN developed the leading farm GIS, GPS mapping, and record-keeping programs in the industry marketed as Farm Works Software.

PCM was founded in 1999 by Norman L. Teegardin, CEO/President of CTN Data Service, Inc. An avid golfer himself, Teegardin realized the advantages a mapping and record-keeping program could offer to golf course superintendents.

The object of Precision Course Management is to create a comprehensive, user-friendly software program that replaces time consuming manual records with a precise, computerized record-keeping system.
